Whether you're raising a new puppy, strengthening your bond with your dog, or exploring the exciting world of dog sports, we're here to help you every step of the way.

Our experienced volunteer instructors provide a supportive learning environment where dogs and their handlers can build confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy training together.

We invite you to explore our classes, meet our community, and discover why dog owners throughout the greater Charlotte region have trusted CDTC since 1955.

We welcome students from Charlotte, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, York County, and surrounding communities.

Our next Class session will begin the week of October 4th.  Stay tuned for registration information!

Our heated, air conditioned, and fully matted facility is conveniently located off I-77 between exit 79 - Dave Lyle Blvd. and exit 81 - Palmetto Parkway.

Puppy & Family Dog Training
Build a strong foundation with classes designed to help you and your dog develop confidence, good manners, and a lifelong partnership.

Dog Sports
Discover exciting activities for every experience level, from learning the basics to training and competing in AKC dog sports with experienced instructors. We offer Obedience, Rally, Agility and Scent Work.

Join us for Ongoing Drop In Sessions

  • All levels of Obedience and Rally on Mondays from 2-4pm
  • Agility Open Ring Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 pm.  Email Marshal with questions or   Signup here.
  • Conformation Drop In Thursdays  11-12pm   Email Debbie
  • Open & Utility on Thursdays from 12-2pm
  • All Drop-In /Open Ring sessions $5 for Members/$10 for Non Members
