Please NOTE - Virginia (Ginger) Kinion had to withdraw from the Charlotte Dog Training Club's upcoming February 4 & 5, 2012 trials. Howard Glatstein from Germantown, TN will be judging her classes for the two days of trial. The March 9-11, 2012 Charlotte Dog Training Club AKC Agility trials will be at the PKC Showplace again. For this trial only we are offering our exhibitors several great incentives. We will offer indoor crating. You only have to bring a chair and you're ready to run. We are also offering lower entry fees. You all have been very supportive of our club through the years and we hope to see you again this March. The Premium is now available for our 2nd Annual Speedway Classic with 4 days of exciting AKC Agility Trials, co-hosted with the Greater Monroe KC, on March 29 - April 1, 2012. These trials will be held in two padded astro-turf rings at the Cabarrus Arena in Concord, NC (near Charlotte). Then it is time to take training classes! The Charlotte Dog Training Club (CDTC) has been serving the needs of Charlotte area dog owners since 1955 by promoting responsible dog ownership through obedience training, turning our canine friends into good citizens.The club's outreach has grown considerably since the early days. CDTC offers puppy socialization, pet beginner, and advanced beginner classes for those looking to help their companion dogs be the best pet they can be. We also offer classes in Novice/Open/Utility Obedience, Novice/Advanced/Excellent Rally for those interested in competitive obedience formats. In addition, we offer Agility training in a wide range of experience and competition levels. You will also find Tracking classes available.Dog owners of all types find a supportive, encouraging atmosphere. Whether your interest is in competition Obedience, Rally, Agility, Tracking, or just gaining better control of your dog, our experienced, knowledgeable instructors can help. Our Obedience and Rally classes are taught in a convenient and spacious indoor facility, heated, fully matted, and with loads of well-lighted parking just outside the door. Our Agility classes are taught outdoors, in a safe, fully lighted and fenced agility field.
